Fried Potatoes



1-1,5kg potatoes

Sunflower oil

1 cup of flour (or corn flour)

Salt, pepper

Oregano, sweet paprika


Wash well and peel the potatoes, cut lengthwise into slices,  put in a bowl with cold water. Then drain the water from the bowl and pour in  very cold water from the fridge. Сut the potatoes into sticks and leave them in a bowl with very cold water for 30 minutes. Then drain the water from the bowl and place the potatoes one layer on a baking paper.  Sprinkle with flour (3-4 tablespoons full) the potatoes using a sieve and leave it like this for 2-3 minutes. Then turn over the potatoes to the other side and also sprinkle it with flour. After 2-3 minutes put the potatoes into a pan with a lot of preheated sunflower oil, stir and fry until golden brown. Then take out the potatoes on a plate, sprinkle with salt, pepper, oregano and paprika.
