Pasta with meat sauce

PASTA WITH MEAT SAUCE

Ingredients:

500gr. spagetti

Salt

Butter or soft margarine (Vitam)

Greated cheese

For the meat sauce:

750gr. of minced meat

4 grated tomatoes

2 tablespoons tomato paste

soft margarine (Vitam)

1 grated large onion

red wine

water

cinnamon, salt, pepper

Directions:

Cook the  pasta in plenty of salted water. Recline the pasta in a colander. Add butter or soft  margarine and stir well.

In a saucepan warm up the margarine  and carefully fry mincemeat with grated onion. Then pour in the red wine and wait to evaporate. Add the grated tomatoes, tomato paste, salt, pepper, cinnamon, water and leave to stew for about 40 min.

Place the pasta on a plate. Pour the meat sauce over pasta and sprinkle with grated cheese over top.

Tzatziki

TZATZIKI

Ingredients:

2 cups yogurt with sour cream

1 cucumber medium size

4 cloves grated garlic

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt, pepper

Vinegar ( a little)

Dill, finely choped (to taste)

Few black olives

Directions:

Grate the cucumber on a coarse grater,  wring out juice, mix with other products and decorate with black olives.

Eggplant salad

EGGPLANT SALAD

Ingredients:

1kg. eggplants

1 cup of olive oil

Lemon juice of one limon

2 cloves of mashed garlic

Salt

Directions:

Pierce the eggplants with a fork, bake them in the oven. Then peel the eggplants and grind them in a blender adding salt, lemon juice, garlic and olive oil.

Garlic Sauce

GARLIC SAUCE

Ingredients:

5 — 6 cloves of garlic

150gr. boiled potatoes or soaked bread crumb

1/2 cup of olive oil

Vineger or lemon juice

Salt

Directions:

Peel and grind garlic cloves. Add the potatoes (or soaked bread crumb) and grind the mixture. Pour 1-2 dessert spoons of vinegar or lemon juice (to taste), olive oil ( little by little), continuing to stir the mixture. Garlic sauce served with  some olives.

Roasted Chicken

ROASTED CHICKEN

Ingredients:

1 chicken about 1 1/2kg.

1kg. small round potatoes

Lemon juice

Olive oil

Mustard

Thyme

Salt, pepper

Directions:

Wash chicken well and rub it inside and out with lemon juice, salt and pepper. Then grease chicken with mustard and leave it in the fridge for 2 hours. Peel  and slice potatoes, add salt, pepper, thyme. Place the chicken and potatoes on a baking tray. Pour over the chicken with lemon juice and olive oil mixed with mustard. Add a little water. Preheat oven to 180°C. Bake chicken about 1 1/2 hours.
